5 quick but effective exercises with no equipment or aka Green Exercising

In this day and age time is so important to us. We need to condense our workouts down so that we can move on to whatever is next on the list. Some have said that it's not the length of time that you workout but that you try to increase your intensity during that workout. Ponder that while you do these in front of the tv with nothing needed but your body and a floor. We'll call these our green exercises. These are very effective lasted the test of time exercises.


5 minute warm up to get those muscles moving. Then:

20 push ups

40 squats

30 sit ups

run for 3 minutes (in place or on a treadmill, if you have it, run around the house or the block if you don't)

25 jumping jacks

Rinse and repeat 2-3 times.

A quick but effective workout makes our lives so much easier. It helps if you get the most out of your workout and it's all here. What exercises do you like to do, if any?

  1. Excellent advice! It's so easy to make excuses about not getting to the gym or getting out to exercise, but the suggestions you've made are quick and easy and really do make such a difference.
