Ever get the feeling the guys in the little white coat

are coming to take you away? Some days I wonder! If they were going to take me away...to be their nurse, of course, then I'd have to purchase new scrubs. I could get them here: http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/. I love that this site has kids and baby scrubs.  So, the people with the white coats could have little children nurses in scrubs sets!  You could think of them next halloween and let your children be a baby nurse in a cute scrub set and an older sibling as a nurse in their scrub set. They could then be like mom and dad! The kids would love that! Blue Sky Scrubs also offers jackets, shirts, earrings and lanyards, too.

The scrub sets at Blue Sky Scrubs are in a variety of styles and colors. I saw some that even looked similar blue jeans. The scrub hats are my personal favorite. You can really show your style by wearing a funky scrub hat with your plain hot pink scrubs. Their lab coats are wrinkle proof, teflon protected 100% cotton. So you know the value you are getting for these scrubs are excellent. Add those earrings and really show your style. Or add a funky scrub hat like the one called Grand Bahama pixie print hat. Here's the swatch:

Grand Bahama Pixie Scrub Hat How cool would you be in this scrub hat? I love it!

Dragonfly and 2-ce: 2 new drugs teens are doing (PARENTS MUST READ)

Are two new drugs that are popping up everywhere. These drugs have killed young people and killed them quickly. It's the new replacement for bath salts. These designer drugs are not going to yell at you...I'm here and on drugs. You can't tell. There is no test for it. You have to watch for signs and sometimes the signs are so very subtle. It is a sneaky drug.

Custom framing makes memories last a lifetime.

When we went on our honeymoon 19 years ago we bought prints at our little island destination. They were beautiful prints. I didn't want a silly tee shirt that would be thrown away after a few years. I wanted a keepsake that I could hold on to for a lifetime. I went with the prints and then decided after we returned from our honeymoon to have them framed. Today I can look at them and smile. They are still hanging in my home bringing me joy all these years later.

Our pets cause carpets to need cleaning...ugh.

Other peoples pets do too. We bought a house the other day and it's a great one, even if it is so unbelievably filthy. We cleaned and cleaned walls, floors, counters and sinks today. Then we noticed we needed to have our carpets cleaned. To get them cleaned we called lots of companies. After looking around we decided to have our carpets professionally cleaned instead of getting someone off craigslist. Because of the dogs we would need extra help getting out the pet odor and stains left behind by the previous owners. We went with professional carpet cleaning company Austin.

Our friends had mentioned that when they had pet odor removal service in Austin they contacted the Steam Team and was able to have it done for a reasonable price. I can't wait to see my newly cleaned and freshly dried carpets tomorrow. As a parent of children and a parent of dogs I know the problems that animals can cause to carpets. It's nice to know that I can get it taken care of at a reasonable rate. After looking at all their options on their site I noticed a natural pet odor remover that looks like a good green alternative. Make sure you check out the site to see all their options. They can also do duct cleaning, marble cleaning, smoke and water damage restoration and so much more. You can thank me later after you put the Steam Team to work. Check them out here: http://www.thesteamteam.com/pet-odor-treatment.shtml

We had to go mattress shopping

last year. We had our mattress for over 20 years at the time. We looked at many places and wish that I had known about Coast to Coast mattress store. They have Sealy mattress deals at a better price than what we paid. They offer free shipping. I can not believe I said that. But they do offer free shipping on an item as heavy as a mattress.

Seniors make sure you take care of your insurance

As a senior it is your responsibility to make sure your needs are taken care of should you pass away. Leaving it up to your family can be a terrible burden when they are already going through a troubling time. Make sure you have burial insurance so this isn't a burden to your sweet loved ones. I know it's hard for seniors to begin to think about end of life issues. But it really is a precious gift that only you can give your loved ones.

Medicare supplement insurance is another way to take care of yourself and your needs. Make sure your supplement has what you need. Ask other friends, go to a senior citizen center and see what they recommend for your medicare supplement. Ask someone who knows and has already been there. You want to have good coverage as you age. Healthcare in this country seems to only be getting worse. You are the only person who has your best interest at heart. Make sure you do your research before you pick your supplemental insurance policy.

If you are worried about your finances make sure you check out their financial guide. It would be a great help in showing you your debt to income ratio. How you are doing with your budgeting or even how to create a budget to manage your money. Money and insurance are just as important later in life as they are when you are just starting out. Make sure you have covered all your bases. It's truly a gift to your family.

What to do with Thanksgiving Leftovers

Our favorite thing to do with leftovers (after sandwiches and reheating just plain turkey and dressing) is to make turkey spaghetti. Just pull your turkey off the bone and set aside.

Winter's Coming~How are you going to keep from getting frozen pipes?

My mother owns a 100 year old farm house. It never fails almost every winter that her frozen pipes burst. Every year. Her pipes scream out, NOOO don't allow me to burst. It hurts to feel the ice in my veins. The shards of ice as the pipe pop open is excruciating to those poor pipes. It's just cruel really. Why? There are ways to prevent it. Sometimes the temps get down so low that they could still freeze. But don't you want to do what you can to try to prevent it. Here are 5 easy things you can do to keep your pipes healthy, happy and unfrozen.

Small Businesses need to protect themselves!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Norton Small Business by Symantec for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

In this country the small business is the foundation this country was built on. Most small businesses say that they put getting new technology above most other needs, even cutting staffing costs. Did you know that most small businesses have been attacked by some sort of malware in their computers? If the business had installed the Norton 360 or the Norton Internet Security 2012 (which both just launched this past September) they would have security that they already had something in place waiting for that malware and would get rid of it.

How to cut your snoring in half! You know snoring leads to lack of sleep

No, really it does. I swear. My husband is the worst. It sounds like someone is choking a rat on steriods...not that I know what that sounds like!!! We did some research to find out how we could get the harmony to quiet. He was snoring so much that he wasn't sleeping and was waking up tired every day. I was never sleeping in the bed with him. Unless, I wanted to not sleep. I chose the couch as I could hear his soulful tunes from there. I wanted to give everyone a list of what has worked so far for us!

Do You Need A Bankruptcy Attorney?

Not everyone who files bankruptcy just spent money wildly and went out of control. There are situations, like my friend's, where they had a horrible year long medical crisis and now have no choice but to file bankruptcy to deal with the terrible aftereffects. Health crisis's are often a large proportion of people who file for bankruptcy and it's why bankruptcy is here for us.

Want to Sell Online? No Idea How to Begin?

I had an online store for almost 5 years and I loved it (wish it would have made more money but I digress). I had a shopping cart that was powered by Intuit and it was awesome. I never had any problems getting my money deposited into my account or refunding it back to customers. Their cart was seamless. It worked so well.

Dry skin Oily Hair...WTH?

Pic of Said Hair and Ballerina
And my face minus the rosacea

So, I've noticed that I have sensitive skin. I can't be out in the wind without my face turning red. I can't be out in the sun without the same thing happening. Once learned I now know that I can not stick my face in the hot water (something I loved to do and did often in the shower) as that in turn leads to terrible rosacia. Sometimes I get eczema in winter in different spots. I'm used to it. This is all fairly new to me. Something I'm going through as I get older. But I'm slowly figuring these things out.

Underwear? Where for art thou underwear?

I hate shopping. (I know someone should revoke my girl card. Next time I go shopping I'll just turn it in at the register, I swear.) I hate shopping for underwear even more. Heading out to find new underwear that I love was my mission. Horribly, I failed.

Shaving Cream Through a Child's Eyes

How did I get this old? My 14 year old son was being taught how to shave the other day. It's so hard to believe I have a son old enough to need shaving cream! My husband was being so patient as he taught him how to shave. My second son, who is 9, stood there and took it all in. You could see by the look on his face he was completely entranced with what they were doing. We even put shaving cream on him and let him "shave" it off with a plastic knife. This is the way memories are made. Both of my boys will remember this for the rest of their life.

How do I budget if I don't have a regular income?

In my opinion it's almost as easy to budget with an irregular income as it is with a consistent income. The only thing you do is list your bills from most important to least. Your four walls are always the most important bills. Housing, food, electric, water, gas for your cars are considered your four walls. Then you list everything else. insurance, cable, haircuts, internet, phone, cell, etc are down the list. Then you put your total income brought in and just begin subtracting out the most important bills first. When you run out of money you simply have to make contact with the other companies to let them know they will be paid later or make a payment plan with them.

Puppies Vs. Babies

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Puppies vs. Babies for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Puppies vs. Babies online contest is running now through November 23. Who will win? Babies are always cute and so sweet. Puppies are so cute too. It will be hard to make a choice and pick the winner in this match. Who would you vote for? I would vote for my puppy baby! I love my Snowball and think he's the cutest now that my children are older. Here's his picture.

From Caped Crusader to Canine Crusader

Article first published as From Caped Crusader to Canine Crusader on Technorati.

Burt Ward, former sidekick to Batman from the early tv series, spends his days taking care of 50 gentle giants. Holy Catwoman! He runs a dog rescue known as Gentle Giants. To date he has saved 14000 dogs and the bigger they are the better. He lets them sleep inside and believes that it does increase their life expectancy. His dogs eat with each other and sleep together and they live longer. I guess, we are all social animals who need interaction daily.

My Messy Moment and How I Cleaned Up

Spending time with friends and family can lead to fun and memorable moments, but also some very messy ones. Tell us about the messiest moments that you’ll always remember!

When my son was younger I had a small daycare in my home. This was my first child and I thought I knew it all. There is so much to learn with young children. Especially with young children who are potty  learning. My son and his daycare friend were playing in his playroom. They were quiet and having a great time. I thought nothing of it. Later that afternoon I went into the playroom to begin to clean it up.

Real Moms Love To Eat

This book arrived as an early release for me to review. It is an amazing way to look at how women in our country are constantly depriving themselves of what they really want to eat. When we deprive ourselves it often makes us overeat when we finally give in to that craving. Why not have built in cheats? This is a weight loss adventure with a built in cookbook. My favorite kind of book as I'm always trying to lose 10 pounds!
