When my son was little he was so attached to his baby blankets.

We had about 3 baby blankets that we rotated through our stash. He would hold it against his face and love it while he watched tv. It was his source of comfort. I'm getting all nostalgic thinking about him with his fingers in his mouth and holding his favorite green or blue blanket. We think one got sent home with the wrong child at preschool and it never did come back. He still remembers that. He's about to turn 15. No baby blankets for him anymore. Sniff, sniff.

My daughter, on the other hand, was not attached to her baby girl blankets. She had the prettiest blankets and slept with them. But she wasn't ever really attached to anything that I can think of. Well, besides her daddy and her bottle. The girl blankets that are so frilly and girly and soft are my favorite. My friend sent her a pink with polka dots on one side and cheetah print on the other side. It was so soft. I loved that blanket.

I still have my son's blanket that he basically tore to shreds. I'm not a keeper of things but I couldn't let this go. His blanket history is too important to throw this blanket away. Were or are your babies attached to items? What are they?
