Cozy Book Hop Giveaway

Thank you for hopping over to say Hi! During a book hop there is a list of sites giving away books or gift cards for books. We are participating in one. Here's a bit about our book and our author. See below to enter the giveaway and enter all or some of the other giveaways on the hop. Thank you again for hopping by!

I'm very excited to be giving 2 books away by this author. I'm almost finished reading Elusive Echoes (the 1st one and then I'll start the 2nd one) and it is a great story. Kay is such a good storyteller that you do feel like you are there with Sean and Mel. There's romance, mystery, drama and so much more to this book. Time for me to get off and finish reading my last 20 pages. Can't wait to see how she wraps up the mystery part of this story!

Excerpt

Mel sighed. She couldn’t remember a time since they’d been teenagers when she hadn’t wanted to be Sean’s girl. Yet they never seemed to get beyond a few heated kisses before he hightailed it in the opposite direction. Sometimes it was hard to tell if he really wanted to kiss her or if he was just being polite.“Maybe I’ll see you tomorrow, then?” As always she felt a little anxious about his answer, though she usually tried to cover her anxiety with an attitude of nonchalance.

He smiled and gave her a peck on the cheek with one last warm hug. Then he rubbed the back of his neck and cast a sheepish glance her way. “Hope so.”

She breathed more easily when she caught his “yes” tell. He always seemed just a little on the shy side when he said yes to something that was important to him. Sean waited for her to cross the parking lot again before he left. He probably didn’t know she routinely stood at the door and watched his taillights disappear.

Author Bio:

Kay Springsteen grew up in Michigan but transplanted to the south about 10 years ago and now resides in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia with her five small dogs. Two of her four children live nearby, a married son who has a daughter of his own (and a second child due in February 2012), and one of her twins. The other twin is married to a
US Marine, and has just left Camp Lejeune in North Carolina to spend three years in Okinawa with her husband. Her oldest daughter still resides in Michigan. When she's not writing, Kay is transcribing and editing medical reports, and she edits for two different fiction houses and also does freelance editing and consulting. Besides being an avid reader, hobbies include photography, gardening, hiking and camping, and of course spending time with her terrific Grandbaby. She is a firm believer in happily ever after endings and knows there is one out there for everyone; it just may not be exactly what was expected.
